I'm a Post-Grad History student, currently working at my local M&S store, till I found a more suitable career.
I like most things related to vampires, and have been ever since I first saw Bram Stoker's Dracula some 15 years ago. In fact, I'd say that Gary Oldman has provided the inspiration for many of my goth/vampire outfits. I am an avid collector of Vampire DVD's, and I currently have about 250 in my collection!!! My favourite author is Anne Rice, and have read the entire Vampire Chronicles (my favourite being The Vampire Lestat), as well as New Tales of The Vampires. I also enjoy things related to the supernatural and fantasy, and I love TV series such as Bewitched and Charmed, as well as movies like The Craft, Labyrinth, The LOTR Trilogy, and the Harry Potter films.
I enjoy socialising with my friends and work colleagues, whether they be goth or not. But they all accept me for who I am, which is cool, otherwise I would'nt hang out with them LOL. I enjoy going to pubs, clubs, and the cinema.
I enjoy going to the Whitby Goth Weekend, and I try to go both in April and October. For me it's the ultimate experience, and I kinda wish that every day could be like that. Alas!!! As well as Whitby, I occasionally go to the Wendy House nightclub in Leeds, which is pretty cool, although it can be a bit crowded LOL.
I enjoy listening to various types of music, apart from pop, R&B, rap, and electro. My favourite bands include Nightwish (I Wish I Had An Angel, and Over The Hills And Far Away), Within Temptation (Stand My Ground, Jillian, Aquarius, It's The Fear, and Forsaken), Turisas (One More and Rasputin), Theatres Des Vampires, Alice Cooper (Poison and School's Out), Motorhead (The Game), Queen, and Bon Jovi (Livin' On A Prayer and You Give Love A Bad Name), to name a few.
My main hate is people who won't accept me for who I am, and who want to change things about me. Thankfully this does'nt happen often to me, but my heart goes out to all those who suffer this :-(
