I'm a pretty huge nerd.
Not one of the "cool" ones - like the hipster kids these days - but a real, dyed in the wool, born and bred Nerd. I'm not really the type who cares what people think of me. The opinions of my wife and kids are all that really matter to me.
I don't really take myself seriously, at least not anymore. There was a time where I put all of my time, and effort into my career. I missed out on a lot because of it, and since I came to that conclusion, I've been looking for a means to retire from my current line of work, and into a new one.
I work in security, and I've done it all. Private security, personal security, force protection/anti terrorism, I've been armed, unarmed, a fugitive recovery agent, and a bouncer. I'm tired of it. I'm done with it. I want more, and better for my family.
So, down to brass tacks.
I didn't join to meet women, or date, or cheat on my beautiful wife.
I'm happy at home.
I am here to network, and connect wit people who are interested in tabletop rpgs - that is - tabletop role playing games. The classic pen and paper games are a matter of interest for a project I'm working on, as are the gamers who play them.
